Privacy policy
Last updated November 4, 2026
Social Publisher (“we”, “us”) is run by Social Publisher, at publishwith.click. It lets you write social media posts once and publish or schedule them to the accounts you connect. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and how to delete it. Questions: the contact address on this site.
What we collect
- Your account: name, email address, a hashed (one-way encrypted) password, time zone, notification choices and when you last signed in.
- Connected social accounts: when you connect a network, that network gives us the account's ID, name, username and profile picture address, plus access tokens that let us post for you. Tokens are stored encrypted.
- What you create: post text, images and videos you upload, schedules, per-network settings (such as a YouTube title or TikTok privacy choice), and the results of publishing (links to published posts, error messages).
- Security data: your IP address when you sign in, sign up or reset a password, kept for up to 24 hours to block repeated attempts. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs.
We use one cookie, to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies or analytics.
How we use it
- To publish and schedule the posts you ask for, to the accounts you choose, and show you the results.
- To send the emails you've turned on: password resets, failed-post alerts, connection reminders and invitations.
- To keep the service secure and working.
We don't sell your data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't use your content to train AI models.
Who we share it with
- The networks you connect (Meta for Facebook and Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Google for YouTube, TikTok): only to publish what you ask, and to read the basic profile details listed above.
- Anthropic, only when you press a “Write with AI” button: the draft, your instructions and any images attached to that post are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce a suggestion. See Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Service providers that run the service for us: our web host (Hostinger) and our email provider.
- Anyone else only if the law requires it.
Google and YouTube
Social Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use YouTube access only to upload the videos you choose to your channel and to show your channel's name.
Connecting YouTube uses YouTube API Services. By doing so you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove our access at any time in your Google account's security settings.
Other networks
Each network's own policy covers what it does with your data: Meta, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, TikTok. You can also remove our access from each network's settings, which stops us posting there.
How long we keep it
- Your account details, for as long as your account exists.
- Posts and images, until you delete them or your account.
- Video files are deleted from our server 3 days after they're published (a small preview image stays with the post).
- When you disconnect a social account, we delete its tokens and details right away.
- When you delete your account, we delete everything above right away. Copies in our server backups are overwritten within 30 days.
How we protect it
The site uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed. Social network tokens and other secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Uploaded videos are kept in a private folder that isn't reachable from the web.
Your choices and rights
- See and correct your details in Settings.
- Disconnect any social account on the Accounts page.
- Delete your account and all its data in Settings, or follow these steps.
- Ask for a copy of your data, or ask anything else about it, at the contact address on this site.
Children
Social Publisher isn't meant for anyone under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll post the new version here with a new date. If the changes are significant, we'll tell signed-in users.
